The CoV-Ireivac national volunteer registry (Communauté de Volontaires I-REIVAC) is an online national registry of people volunteering to take part in clinical vaccine research (clinical trials, cohorts, etc.).
The National Volunteer Register CoV-IREIVAC was initiated in 2020 under the supervision of the Inserm during the Covid-19 pandemic. It received funding from the Ministries of Solidarity and Health, as well as the Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation. Its development was carried out with the support of the French clinical research network (F-CRIN).
Initially dedicated to vaccine research against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, it has expanded its horizons since November 2022 to all vaccine research conducted by the I-REIVAC network.
The platform helps members of the I-REIVAC network to pre-identify a large number of volunteers within a short timeframe, thereby facilitating the conduct of clinical research projects. It also enables the identification of specific populations (patients with hypertension, diabetes, immunocompromised, etc. ).
To date, the registry includes more than 55,000 adult volunteers and 390 children.
